It was a cold frosty start to the day today but fortunately the two properties in Lydiate that we had been booked to carry out a professional gutter clean on were not frozen.
Using our high powered vacuum system we soon cleared and cleaned all the debris out of the blocked customers gutters.One property being a 1930’s extended 3 bed semi detached home with conservatory and the other being a 1980’s 4 detached house.
Both of these properties are modern compared to the oldest pub The Scotch Piper Inn located on Southport Road Lydiate. The pub which dates back to 1320 will be 700 years old this year and was the oldest pub in Lancashire until the recent boundary changes which brought into Merseyside, so now its the oldest pub in Merseyside too.
